…that is, Moroccan doors.
my Doors: knocking on Morocco’s portals puts Morocco’s doors on centre stage without the intrusive presence of people. I am usually a people photographer, but for this collection I chose to keep them out of my camera’s frame. To me each door is a visual poem, they tell me stories about the guests and intruders who pass through, they’re witness to encounters and adventures, and romances and sorrows. So even without the electric presence of a person, they still reflect human life.
